Behringer Truth B2031A Studio Monitors deliver an all-new, professional level of transparency, power, accuracy and versatility for the home studio - at an amazing price.
These high-resolution, active monitors provide XLR and 1/4-inch TRS balanced inputs, very neutral sound and an extremely flat frequency response (50Hz - 21kHz).

They're loaded with 150-Watt (lows) and 75-Watt (highs) power amps, separately controlled limiters, long-throw 8.75-inch woofers for deep, tight bass; ferrofluid-cooled HF drivers; unique wave guides; and extremely low-distortion active crossover networks with 4th order Linkwitz-Riley filters. They deliver excellent dispersion & stereo imaging and a large sweet spot.

The B2031A is adjustable to a wide range of acoustic conditions or subwoofer combinations and magnetic shielding allows placement near computer/video monitors. Truth monitors are delivered in matched pairs. Cabinet dimensions are 15-3/4 x 9-13/16 x 11-3/8 inches, 33 lbs each.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
After four years of continuing use one unit burned out the output power stage. Other monitors I have had for the same period of time and under the same workload do not show any sign of exhaustion.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
The best feature may be the power level and sound. I think it would be good to have a little more fidelity when it comes to frequency response
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
Very easy to adjust if you know what you are doing and have measurement equipment. However this is always the case in most units but the more expensive top ones
Sound
How is the tone?
Very good tone almost comparable to units much more expensive.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Not the most reliable unit on the market. They may sound like Mackies however they are no Mackie at least in terms of dependability
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
A very good alternative for home studio monitoring on a budget

Made well. Switches are tight. Jack is solid. These puppies are heavy. I like that personally. May be unfounded, but seems to convey a certain quality. Then again... trains are heavy. I don't like listening to trains.

What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
I mix in a small room. Compensation switch on these solved low end issue that bass traps couldn't

Very easy to adjust for room shortcomings
Sound
How is the tone?
It still amazes me the things I can hear. Fingers on a fretboard; A pick ready to strike a chord; Breath in a sax; Tip of a stick smacking a head; HiHat cymbals touching; blah, blah, blah. Even their silence sounds great. Lo end is tight and punchy (sounds cliche I know. But it's spot-on in this case). Wear a seatbelt until you get used to them Wind from the bass ports will move your hair from three feet away. I feel like I owe Behringer more money. They've got the perfect slogan -just listen.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Rock solid after 3 yrs. No probs
