Overall Rating
What is your overall opinion of this product?
This guitar is not only a great value, it's simply a great guitar.
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
The quality is top notch, durable, sounds great, looks fantastic. I love the neck. The pickups are great. I can't find anything wrong with it.
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The guitar is chunky, it's got a fat neck, and the body is heavy, but all of that adds to the tone and feel. Everything responds very well to my playing. This is not a "modern" strat, it's a 60's strat.
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
The tone is hard to describe. It's a little mellow with some high mids, and it has a sweet tone.
How did the stain or paint job look?
The paint job is beautiful.
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
It smokes other guitars in it's range.
How was the action out of the box?
The set up out of the box was tits. I didn't change a thing.
