    A very good Strat !

What is your opinion of this product?
This 60's classic player fits my needs with nice medium size neck with 12" radius. The neck pickup is doable as is however why not grind the 7" radius pickups down to match the 12" radius board: sorry but sir, How can a "master builder" have such oversight? The bridge pup in piercing, I'll wire it to tone control to tame it as 99 5/6 % of the population does. This guitar has blown away 3 of my Warmoth projects by it's superior unplugged tone and playability. These 69" pickups sound alot better than several coil-tapped humbuckers I've tried out, with the tone pot to cut the highs. Thank you AMS for supplying me with yet another awesome guitar!!!

    Sadly Disappointed!
What is your opinion of this product?
I had very high hopes and really, really wanted to like this guitar. Sadly I just don't. I am shocked so many people give the 69 custom shop pickups such high reviews. The sound of these pickups is just really bland. Very low output and significant buzz even in the 2 and 4 positions! Honestly, my 1995 MIM Strat sounds 100x better. I'm starting to wonder if I got a dud or what!? It's just not at all what I expected and doesn't sound bad, but it definitely looks 10x better on paper. It is a nice looking guitar, but the tone is just blah.
