| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| This guitar is easily one of the best Strats I have ever played and definitely the fastest. The craftmanship is top notch. The volume pot is smooth as silk for doing volume swells and the tremelo stays in tune. I read where this is one of the best Fenders ever made, and I believe it. I have been a die hard Fender user for many years. |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| This guitar has been extremely reliable. The only adjustments I have had to make were to the tremelo springs and I had to raise the bridge saddles a little. These are typical adjustments that I make to all my guitars, as I prefer higher string action. |
|
| Overall |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| As a Fender user for decades, thsi is the best Fender has to offer. I wouldn't play anything else. |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| This is THE GUITAR for neoclassical shred. Yngwie and Fender really had their act togetherwhen they designed this masterpiece. |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| Definitely has Yngwie's mojo all over it! GREAT for shredding. No mushy sound. The YJM Fury pickups ROCK! |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| AWESOME finish! It's gonna have that cool aged look, much like my '68 Strat. This guitar is elegant and a monster shred machine all rolled into one. |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| This guitar was ready to rock out of the box. I did make a few minor adjustments, as I like my string action a little higher than normal, but that's just a personal preference. |
