What is your overall opinion of this product?
It is a beautiful guitar, but as another review said, the frets could have been rounded off better, they kinda catch your finger at the edge of the fretboard. Also, I was disappointed in the collar type of whammy bar. I was hoping for the pop in type, as I have had issues with my other guitar that has the collar type that loosens itself as you play. I will see if it becomes a problem here. It is a different animal with the seven strings. I need to get used to playing regular chords while not grabbing the lowest string. It presented me with more of a mental and visual hurdle than expected, but I do suck so....ha ha ha...uhggg....
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
I still need to work with it to see how well I can play in standard and incorporate the seventh string.
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finish looks awesome, it is a beautiful guitar.
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
Yes, I would like to play one of the higher priced models to see the differences and I would have bought one if they had the grey burst finish.
How was the action out of the box?
I had to tune it and I am still dialing it in.
