Dunlop CSP202 MXR Custom Comp Compressor Pedal

Dunlop's CSP202 MXR Custom Comp Compressor Pedal is built from the finest components available. It is designed with a blend of modern and classic compressor technology. At the heart of the pedal of the Dunlop CSP202 MXR Custom Comp Compressor resides the legendary and rare CA3080 "metal can" IC that delivers increased dynamic range, greater transparency, and quieter operation. In addition, the MXR Custom Shop design team included RF suppression components for interference free operation, and an internal Attack control that allows fine tuning of the speed of the note's initial attack. Combined with a TPDT (Triple Pole Double Throw) switch for true bypass and heavy duty pots, Dunlop's CSP202 MXR Custom Comp Compressor Pedal will provide years of high performance live and in the studio.

Your general opinion of this product.
Sounds pretty good but I seem to have volume issues. I can't get it to match the non-compressed level. I don't use a compressor for every clean part I play so it really matters that the compressed and non-compressed levels are equal. It's a bummer because the pedal works great otherwise :(
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?

This compressor sounds like a script dynacomp to me,Better than the MXR 76 RI with same ic can.

not a guitar

The compressor can be set to sound just like a dynacomp., Great manual.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Beautiful, white, aluminum look with 2 black MXR knobs, I 'm thinking people are not buying it cause they are not paying enough for it, sounds like a comp thay costs 100 dollars more.
