For those players who need a portable, high performance rig with even more low end than the XLT, Eden has designed a 2 x 10 inch cabinet for their latest XST woofers.
This 2 x 10 inch cabinet handles more power than many 4 x 10 inch cabs on the market. The low end is full but tight, the mids are open and well defined and the highs are clear and crisp.

Since their beginning as a custom builder for professional artists and manufacturers in 1976, Eden Electronics has had one goal in mind: To build the highest quality bass amplification equipment possible. Their goal is truly realized with the David Series Bass Enclosures and Professional Amplification.

From the beginning, the key to Eden's success was the development of high quality, innovative designs, coupled with the best possible quality control through in-house manufacturing of all key design elements. Each component in the Eden David Series is hand built and tested in their new factory complex.

At Eden, each new cabinet design begins its life as a CAD model. Sophisticated relationships between speaker and cabinet size, air movement and baffle design are first designed with the assistance of specialized computer simulations. While CAD has revolutionized cabinet design, nothing replaces the trained human ear. Each Eden cabinet is carefully evaluated for sonic detail and voicing by their staff and professional bass players in real-world situations. The result is a marriage of technology and pure musical considerations: the Eden David Series Bass Enclosures.

All Eden enclosures are constructed with 5/8 inch thick void free plywood with full dado and rabbet jointing. Massive internal bracing prevents vibration and keeps the sound deep, tight and clear. Exclusive Eden Cast Frame loudspeakers and Eden Cast Bell ultra low distortion tweeter horns are designed, hand-built and tested in their own factory.

For a 2-10 cab, while not as light as a neo, for a 500 Watt RMS rated Cab, this little bugger will out perform most 4-10 cabs on the market

How is the tone?
Where this bottom shines is when you are playing in the band. It produces the sound you need to a be heard, at the same time, doesn't create a bunch of issues for the FOH.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
It is awesome. It's a lot of quality sound out of a small package.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
It had a very broad frequency range down to 30hz, and with it's 500 watt RMS rating, it will provide as much low end as you need.

excellent 5 stars. The black carpet covering is the only thing I can think of that I would rather change. however other than Peavey most cabinets have this material on them . as long as you dont have cats or dogs you wont have a problem lol

Unlike Hartke, and some other subpar cabinets, this cabinet offers you tweeter control. You can dial up , or back out the treble depending on how you like it. I have Hartke cabinet that has slight hiss in it, and I have to use EQ on amp to minimize all the hiss. this cabinet doesnt have that issue with the treble adjustment you can dial up your own sound.

How is the tone?
You have to hear it to believe it. Massive, focused, articulate, expressive, I could go on and on. I love my Goliath III with the 4 tens in it. However for a 2x10 cabinet this little puppy can rock the house with less weight. Obiviously if you playing a real large venue you would need to add another cabinet. But for playing small club ...dinner spot...this baby rocks the house.

I have never thought once about returning this cabinet. I have never regretted getting this . the price tag is high...but you get what you pay for. So this cabinet is for the serious bassist. If you a beginner you dont need fork out all this dough.

BOTTOM IS THICK WITH A LOT OF PUNCH. MID ARE CRYSTAL CLEAR, AND THE TREBLE IS SWEET AND SMOOTH, NOT IRRITATING AT ALL. AS A BASSIST I DONT WANT MY TREBLE TO HAVE THAT GLASS LIKE QUALITY ..I WANT MY TREBLE TO BE MELLOW . LOL
