This amp is AWESOME!!!!!
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
Very good product. I have owned Crate BV's, Mesa Triple Recto and a JCM 800 KK. These amps in my opinion beat them hands down. This amp doesn't need an eq or tube screamer to make it workable. Plug in, dial in yor EQ and go!
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The features on this amp are very usable. Mid + or -, Gain + or -, and the tight and bright switch are awesome for an array of different tones or dialing in your preference...easy I was considering getting a 6505 +, but opted for this one due to the usable features and by the way, the clean tone is the best on any high gain amp I have ever played. I can dial in Fender cleans and have A/B'd with my Fender Deluxe. Add a little compression and chorus...heavenly!
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
The Vengeance is well made. Love the easy biasing and the ability to swap out different tubes, bias it, and be playing within 15. min.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I have had this amp for around 3 months and did a few gigs with her. So far, she has delivered every practice and live show.

Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
High gain tones are phenominal. It can do everything from Marshally crunch, to complete high gain roar of a 5150 or 6505. And cleans? Well, I already told you about those! I run my high gain setting as follows... Tight, bright, and gain + mode with scooped mid switch engaged, gain on 1-2 o'clock, bass on Noon, mids at 8o'clock and treble at 1o'clock. Density at noon and presence at about 1o'clock. Great tone in my opinion! I am using a Jackson DKM2 (Japanese made) guitar with the James Hetfield signature EMG's with an 18 volt mod, and a Les Paul Studio with the 490/498. Though both guitars obviously have their own characteristics, they both sound great, and when I switch in between them, I don't have to re-EQ it.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Finish is black and has nice corner protectors on it. And yeah..a nice fan blowing on the tubes to keep them cooler and preserving tube life.

Fantastic amp. Great high gain tones and the best cleans I have heard in a hi-gain amp. Also very versatile. With the dual masters and the dual mids, you can run this like a 6 channel amp.
