Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
The handle is just a hole at the top back of the speaker. Your fingers have nothing to curl around, and the surface inside the hole is completely smooth. Plus the hole is at the back of the speaker, and all the weight is at the front. Therefore the speaker really wants to slip out of your hand. Terrible design. The cover snags on the XLR jack's metal release tab every time you put it on or remove it. It's only a matter of time until you tear the covers. The pole mount is at the extreme back of the speaker. All the weight hangs off the front. Even though they are light, that's still a 20 pound imbalance on one side of your speaker stand. If you don't position the speaker over a leg of the stand, you can push it over with a very light tap. On a smaller stand, a heavy breath might even topple it.
Sound
How is the tone?
There is no bass whatsoever. They are unusable without a sub. I did 2 events with them that K8's would have blown away and I might as well have had a boom box. I don't even consider them full range speakers. I returned them and I'm awaiting my new K8's.
