| Violin seems to be very well made. I really like the glossy finish. This is my first violin so I can't really compare it physically to other violins as far as quality goes. |

| It seems to be a great instrument! Comes with an instrument cable, headphones, 9V battery, case, bow, container of starter rosin and a velvet-like polishing/beauty cloth. I would advise people to be very careful when trying to adjust the headphones. I did not realize only one side moves for size adjustment and broke mine in half right out of the box. It's OK though. I just use the ear buds from my smartphone instead. They're more comfortable anyway. The micro tuners at the bridge are stiff at first but through more usage they will become easier to turn. This is probably either due to tight threads or maybe too much paint/anodizing on them. They will become easier to use over time I'm sure. |

| This violin is extremely light. A 16oz soft drink feels like it weighs more than this violin. The controls are in a good location and the headphone & MP3 jacks on the back are convenient. |

| This is my first electric violin (first violin ever actually) but the tones I get from it sound very nice when the violin is played properly. I feel the best sound results from having the volume slider at about half or just above and then adjust the bass/treble sliders to taste. |

| The Sunburst version I got appears a bit more orange than the photo here on AMS does but it is still a very good looking color and and is glossy. Not a mark anywhere on the violin. |

| The action out of the box was a bit frightening but I attribute this to my not being familiar with the instrument or how it is packed for shipping. When I opened the case the bridge was not in the slot where it should have been and one of the overly loosened strings was actually beneath the fingerboard. I feared it had been damaged in shipping until I realized the bridge was not in place to protect it and the strings during shipping. Once I tightened the strings and put the bridge in its proper location all was wonderful. Use any clip on or in-line tuner. |

| I got some decent tones out of this. The controls let you make it really trebley, but if you cut back on the highs, the low end really sounds sweet. By the way, the strings suck. But good enough to start out. Sounds great played through a Behringer keyboard amp, as well as through a Fender Frontman with some distortion. I'm having fun with it. |

| Well, here's where I can criticize. The main body has a decent black finish. But they missed in a few spots on the scroll, and there is a definite demarcation line between the black finish and the natural finish on the neck. The glue is dripping out of some seems, and it seems like an amatuer spray paint job. Sort of like 8th grade wood shop class, but again, it is not $1000 violin. |

| I'm not really sure what a violin is supposed to feel like, so I guess the action is alright. I'm getting by with it as is. It is not adjustable, so you get what comes out of the box, but it seems OK. |

| Seems put together well. Quality is not exactly terrific. I have a Stagg upright bass which I paid almost $700 for, and that instrument is flawless. This is a low budget item and the quality of the workmanship is passable, certainly not on par with a hand made beauty, but not too bad.It will do what I want, that is, to be an entry level item. The case is well built, and I think this will suit me well for the time being. I am pleased with the purchase. |

| It is a low budget, entry level electric violin, with decent sound and feel for a beginner. The finish is rough and some of the glue was left dripping out of the joints, but overall, not bad for the money. Having an extensive musical background,(40 years on stage) I wanted to learn the violin, but did not want to spend a fortune on my first one. I am pleased with this, and actually can scratch out a few tunes on it after just a few days. This is a good instrument for someone who is just beginning the violin, but it can work for a seasoned player as well. |

| Controls are really nice. The sliders are placed in a good spot, out of the way but reachable. The headphone, mp3 and line out jack are in a nice place underneath, and the battery compartment is well placed. |
