Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Absolutely. The original "Fender special design " speaker was made by eminence and has lasted since 1996, I'm sure it will last at least as long as the original.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Only had it a month, but once broken in over a week or so, sounds great.
General
Your general opinion of this product.
Put in a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe version I .What a great improvement over the stock speaker.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Tone can go from really clean fender and gretsch jazzy tones, to great crunch tones with ease.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Love the red paint, really stands out in the black cabinet.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
N/a
