| Subject: | Third times a charm... |
| Quality:
| The first two where not even worthy of the Epiphone name. I realize these are made overseas, but the quality on the first two was dismal. I am not sure how the first two even made it past the "USA" inspectors. However, #3 is flawless. |
| Sound:
| A little thin, but I think a string change will help. |
| Reliability:
| We will see. It seems pretty solid. |
| Overall:
| I ordered one a month ago and after two returns for pieces of wood that where both unplayable and damaged, I finally got number 3 today. The difference between what I got today verses the first two guitars is amazing. The finish on #3 is perfect. The bindings and fret work are excellent and it was playable out of the box. The finish is breath taking even for being a laminated top. My advice is look it over really good and return it if you don't like what you see. The AMS people where quick and helpful with the two returns. |
| Playability and Feel:
| The neck is pretty fast. The frets are surprisingly even. I am not kidding when I said the first two where real pieces of junk. |
| Tone:
| The tone is a bit thin. But I can definitely say that new strings are going to help this. I played a Gibson J200 and this is pretty close. |
| Finish:
| Perfect. |
| Action:
| Playable right out of the box. |

| Subject: | A great Jumbo for a fraction of the price! |
| Quality:
| Made very well with attention to detail. The only thing is the pick guard which show wear from the slightest bit of playing. The frets and neck are all excellent! |
| Reliability:
| So far so good! |
| Overall:
| The only drawback is that it is a laminated top as opposed to a solid top, the sound is a little thin. Not bad is you put on new strings. |
| Playability and Feel:
| Action is perfect, great for chords and leads! |
| Tone:
| The tone is a bit thin, but not bad with new strings. A great guitar! |
| Finish:
| I have the sunburst, just fantastic with no flaws! |
| Action:
| Out of the box she lays great with NO buzz! I was very impressed. Epiphone does a very good job. |
