Subject:Are you serious?????
Quality: This is one killer bass!!! Epiphone has outdone themselves on this one. They make great guitars, the Les Pauls are beautiful, the Slash Models are wonderful, and the Thunderbirds are loud and thumpy, but this thing KILLS!!!!! I still cant believe how good this is.
Features: The on off switch is the greatest thing on earth. Just a flick of the switch, everything goes.
Sound: Oh my God!!!! The sound???? Its the way a rock and roll bass should sound, mean, raw, and nasty!!!!!!!
Playability and Feel: This thing is great. Plays well, superfast neck, not heavy at all, and nothing is in the way, just turn it on and rock.
Tone: Raw and Loud, You cant adjust the tone or volume, which is the thing i lllloooovvvvvveeeeeee about this bass. Its a rock mans bass!!!!!!!!!
Finish: Beautiful smooth NON GLOSS, BEAUTIFUL FLAT BLACK, AWESOME FINISH. Its eye candy, and its one sweet lookin bass!
Action: Sleek, slim, perfection, but you should have it setup like with any guitar or bass. Its a preference to each his own.

Subject:Why this is the only bass I will ever play again!
Quality: An Exceptional piece of craftsmanship, a true testament to how far a lot of companies have come in the past few years. Don't worry about the fact that it Ephiphone is now Gibson's 'low line' or that it was built in Korea. I own 2 of these and neither has let me down in over 100 shows, and 3 tours.
Features: All hail the purification of the bass. No pointless knobs, no batteries, no useless EQ's and nothing to adjust. The controls are idiot proof. One switch just as the rock god Mr. Syxx intended it. This ROCK MONSTER is the 0 to 100 MPH in 3 seconds drag car of bass!
Sound: Designed for kick you in the face down and dirty bass playing. The Blackbird can grind out the low end of pocket styled bass playing better then anything built for twice the cash. This isn't your dads jazz bass, you aren't going to need 500 dollars of sound re-enforcement to get that non-classic low end growl and click in the highs you want.
Playability and Feel: The bass is a bit on the big and heavy side, with a lean toward the head stock. To me those are benefits. You just have to have to buy a good wide strap and locks and this baby will take care of you. The neck has that thin super 70's close sting spaced long scaled feel to it. Just lean back and enjoy the already broken in feel of a ride. The controls are just one switch, if you can't figure that out yo are not smart enough to be playing.
Tone: The DEEP SYXX pick ups are awesome! Dark heavy very thick bottom end, with a grinding metal edge to it. If you want that tinny, no balls sound, buy another bass. This thing is Rock and Metal all the way!
Finish: Flat black is flat out awesome. A paint job designed to be ridden hard and put away wet. Mine have resisted blood, sweat and nightly beatings and still look great. Nothing shinny except the clear pick guard just as it was meant to be. Hands down one of the coolest set of finger board inlays you can ever get.
Action: Every bass needs to be set up out the box, I don't care who makes it. A twist here and a turn there, nothing you can't do at home with an allen key and a screwdriver. I tune way below E so I adjusted both of my basses to get used to the super low tuning in about half an hour for the pair including the intonation and the string hight. I was able to lower the action on it to a breath above the neck with no click on the pick ups.

Subject:A GREAT bass!
Quality: This bass is as great quality as any $1200 bass.
Features: The cross inlays I like the most...SIXX pick-ups are perfect.
Sound: Sounds as great as the Gibson model. I personally have played a few of them from the Memphis factory years ago when the Gibson model was newly released.
Playability and Feel: Fretboard action is great with NO buzzing.
Tone: Tone is perfect....I love the fact the top E does not over power the rest....tone is equal.
Finish: Looks great as everyone will tell you if you buy one.
Action: I love anything NEW out of the box!....
