Epiphone EJ200CE Jumbo Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar

The Epiphone EJ200CE is an acoustic electric version of the EJ200m a striking jumbo-body acoustic guitar, featuring ornate inlays and decoration, with a maple body and a spruce top - and a cutaway! Its larger body produces very balanced tone and even more resonance than a dreadnought. Authorized by Gibson USA, the EJ200EC also features a comfortable 1.68 inch nut width, gold hardware, a rosewood fretboard and a maple neck. Using a scientifically created finish, select woods and carefully chosen design elements, Epiphone instruments are designed for nothing less than a lifetime of the finest musical performance.

About Epiphone Guitar
Epiphone's passion has always been about more than just making guitars. It has been about making music. It has been about understanding what is inside every musican that makes them want to, have to, express themselves. And understanding the myriad musical styles, where they are going and how they might develop. For over one hundred and twenty-five years they have continually looked for new and better ways to help players take their music farther.

Subject:Exceptional Guitar!
Overall:

QUALITY:
This guitar was perfect. No flaws at all. No excessive glue or blemishes in the finish. The inlays were also flawless.

FEATURES:
The one feature I woild like to see would be an optional black pick guard for the black models. The Epi electronics are really great. They aren't Fishman, but sound great.

EASE OF USE:
The action on this guitar was exceptionally low. Just the way I prefer my action. I couldn't have asked for a better set up. I did have to read the instruction manual on the electronics, but other than that, what else do you need to know on playing a guitar?

VALUE:
I think the value for this MUCH of a guitar is extremely great. It was worth every cent.

SOUND:
Once I found the right strings for my liking, I'd have to say that this guitar sounds better than other jumbos I've played. It even compares to it's Gibson cousin, which costs 4 times as much.

the neck is smooth and easy to slide up and down the fret board and sounds great when plugged in.

VALUE:
i would pay more for it if i had the money lol but thankfully it's at the price it is.

SOUND:
perfect sound. I'm recording my first demo album May 31st and wouldn't pick another guitar to use.

Subject:Best Axe out there for under $500.00
Overall:

QUALITY:
Beautiful finish; almost mirror like. It should last for years.

FEATURES:
The JUMBO size along with the maple back and sides give a wonderfull "bright" yet "full" sound. It is very unique amoung acoustics. I wish it had an onboard tuner.

EASE OF USE:
Mine played well right out of the box. However, I always replace strings on any new axe I buy.

VALUE:
The Gibson version of this axe runs around $3500. At that price, I would be afraid to take it out of the house. Epi has done a great job of reproducing the look, feel, and most of all the sound of the "King of the flat tops".

SOUND:
Totally unique!! Full but not muddy, bright but not twangy. You would just have to try it side by side with a dreadnought or rosewood acoustic to hear for yourself. When plugged in, you have a switch that acts sort of like a pickup selector on an electric. This also allows you to customize your sound when p

The Quality of this guitar is bar none topo notch for the price i paid

FEATURES:
the best feature has to be the look of the guitar beatiful an amazing replica to the gibson model

EASE OF USE:
now here are the cons of this guitar the neck is pretty bulky and the guitar is kind of on the big side

VALUE:
The value of the guitar is well worth the money but its kind of hard to play complicated stuff because of such a bulky neck but u start to get used to it

SOUND:
The sound is amazing couldnt ask for a better sound If I could i would give the sound a 6 out of 5!!!

Subject:Its a great guitar, and the service was unmatchable.
Quality: Yes, I havent had it long but I beleive it will stand well.
Reliability: Can't answer this yet haven't had the guitar long enough yet.
Overall: Its a beautiful guitar,I think its about as close to a Gibson you can get.
Playability and Feel: I thought it would be bulky, but it fits well, The neck feels like a Gibson, And I really like the elecronic tuner, and electronics.
Tone: The sound is great, I think I'll put a new set of strings on it buzzy sounding due to the strings.I was amazed of the warm sound when I plugged it into a amp. Anothe thing I noticed when I electified it was It didn't make loud buuzzing noise when I moved aroung like most guitars do.
Finish: Great, As said Its probably one of the most hansome guitars I ever ownned. And I've owned at least 50 in my life time.
Action: Great, don't think it needs any adjustments.I beleive it plays as well as Gibson.
Skill Level: Intermediate
