The Epiphone So Cal 50 watt head features an all tube signal path with a solid-state rectifier to give you results on stage and in the studio.
Two channels let you dial in a large range of sounds from thick distortions to smooth clean. The two channels share a specially designed three band EQ, selectable between interactive and independent modes. Contour control on the overdrive channel helps you dial in that sweet spot.
Designed and engineered in the USA by Gibson, the So Cal 50 head lets you select between 50 watt class AB (pentode mode) and 25 watt class AB (triode mode). Multiple speaker outputs provide endless set-up options with extension cabinets.
Built with durability in mind, the So Cal 50 features a 16 gauge steel chassis. Also has sturdy 11-ply birch cabinet with metal protective corners.

Epiphone's passion has always been about more than just making guitars. It has been about making music. It has been about understanding what is inside every musican that makes them want to, have to, express themselves. And understanding the myriad musical styles, where they are going and how they might develop. For over one hundred and twenty-five years they have continually looked for new and better ways to help players take their music farther.
