The Epiphone Korina Explorer was ahead of its time when it was introduced in 1958 and its as relevant today as ever! Instantly recognizable as a classic American design, the Korina Explorer features twin humbuckers, a korina body plus the standard Gibson 24.75-inch scale length. And while every Epiphone is a compilation of over 125 years of experience working directly with musicians, only a few embody a single artists individual creativity and spirit. The Epiphone Signature Collection guitars are as legendary and as individual as the artists themselves.

Lock Tone
The Lock Tone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece are standard equipment on all Epiphone guitars with a tune-o-matic setup. From their Custom Les Pauls right down to the Special II, Epiphone knows that tuning stability and sustain can make or break a guitar so it’s important to have a dependable bridge you can trust.

Your general opinion of this product.
this is the 3rd guitar ive bought brand new and its the only one that didnt come with a cosmetic deffect ha. i got an epiphone sg about 5 years ago that had a burn mark on it? nd it was factory sealed but i didnt care cuz it was my first guitar, i bought a squier standard telecaster about 3 months ago, its good but it has a stain on the pickguard, also factory sealed. but this korina explorer i sperfect, no deffects, all it needed out of the box was tuned, stays in tune very well andlooks beautiful, i will say the color is darker than what is in th epic, but dont get down because it really is a beautiful guitar.
