Subject:Great Guitar for The Price
Quality: Considering it's assembled in the States I'm sure Gibson and Epiphone have tight QC with the Les Paul name attached to it. I thought it is just what it is, a "Black Beauty"
Reliability: Have had it since Xmas 2008 and if you care for it properly I'm sure it will last a lifetime.
Overall: Excellent guitar for the price. A Gibson BB LP was 5 grand so this was an option to get the LP sound for someone on a budget.
Playability and Feel: Has a great heavy solid LP feel, the neck is very comfortable and the controls are smooth. I added the tulip machine heads to give a more LP traditional look.
Tone: Sounds is equal of a Gibson LP and the tone is great. Playing through a V Amp Pro effects pre-amp and the humbuckers give a lot of variables.
Finish: The Black paint is flawless and if you keep it clean and waxed it looks incredible.
Action: The action was a bit high, however I had it professionally set up and made a huge difference.
