QUALITY: great quality had a little fret buzz but adjusted the bridge and no longer an issue
FEATURES: has a good range of sounds im using a line 6 spider III 30w and I can get all the sounds I need and clear
EASE OF USE: took me about 1 week to adjust from a much flater neck on my Ibanez Rg but would never go back to it.
VALUE: I was lucky and found a used one of these for under $500 but the full price around $800 is well worth it. Its the best sounding epiphone Les Paul I have ever tried
SOUND: sound is awsome the variablilty with these two hb's are just right. some people want the active pu's but i dont seem to feel a need for them

QUALITY: Epiphone has come a long way in the last few years. Excellent fret work, nut was clean, paint is flawless.
FEATURES: It has Grover tuners which are a step up over regular Epiphones. Unpainted neck is a nice touch, personally thats why I bought it.
EASE OF USE: Come on , you plug in and play.
VALUE: Considering that Epi Les Paul Customs are closely priced and that the ZW Customs use wood combos similar to the Gibson versions then yeah its worth it if you cant shell out the bread for a Gibson.
SOUND: Sound is good, the EMGs do a good job. Not as raw as a SD JB or Distortion and certainly not as ballsy as the EMG 81/85 in the Gibson, but thats only a $150 mod away !
STYLE: Rock
MUSIC EXPERIENCE: 24 years
OVERALL: Overall this is a good Les Paul. Good tuners, well made, well finished, PUs are acceptable even at high gain/volume levels. Its heavy

| | | Subject: | A Gibson Collector LOVES this guitar | | Quality:
| I collect Gibsons - 3 Gibson Customs, 4 Standards, and 5 Classic's - this guitar is built wonderfully (at least the one I got). My copy had zero flaws and I'll even say that the bullseye decal is great. | | Reliability:
| Haven't had it long enough to let time test it, but I honestly don't think that will be an issue. | | Overall:
| Stands up to all of my Gibson Les Paul's in my collection. Epiphone really should consider doing other Les Paul copies using this guitar. Perhaps more color or design models. | | Playability and Feel:
| Plays identical to any of my Gibsons. Plays very light in that I do not need to aggressively attack the strings to get a riff to pound out. The action was nearly dead-on out of the box. The neck is very smooth and may take but a few hours to get used to the natural wood feel. Stays in excellent tune. | | Tone:
| The passive pickups are actually great. If I closed my eyes, I would not know this was an Epiphone. I really wouldthink that I had picked up one of my Gibson Customs. Plays fantastic. Great tone and sustain. I play a lot of Randy Rhoads, and this guitar gives me all the great tone and sound that is needed in metal. I opted not to install the active EMG's because I don't like too much beef. | | Finish:
| 2 thoughts: You either collect expensive guitars or you don't. I do collect them and understand that there is a decal beneath that clear overcoat. I accept that and understand it. My finsish on this guitar is awesome, flawless and catches everyone's eye. | | Action:
| Action out of the box was dead-on. I did have a authorized Gibson tech set it up, and he even said it was awesome. He even said that it simply rocks! | | Skill Level:
