Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top Electric Guitar

The Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top is simply the best way to get into an authentic Les Paul without breaking the bank.
If you can handle everything about a Gibson Les Paul except the price, check this out! Gibson engineers designed this modern classic with the arched top and fast neck of the best Les Pauls. It has an arched, figured curly maple, carved top for that great Les Paul look. And, like all Les Pauls, a solid, glued neck joint for great sustain and stability. These guitars are built 100% to Gibson's specifications. Since 1910, Epiphone has been building quality instruments and this Les Paul Standard will only enhance their great reputation. The Les Paul guitar is synonymous with Rock and Roll. No other guitar gives you the power, the sustain and the sound of a Les Paul. If it's got Les Paul's signature on the headstock, it's the real thing... Accept no substitutes! Authorized by Gibson USA!
Also available with Gator Deluxe Molded Hardshell Case at an incredible price!

Subject:Well worth the $$$
Quality: If you take a stack of 6 $100 dollar bills and stack them next to this guitar its an easy choice. For a mostly machine made AXE this is one of the best made guitars i've seen in a long time.
Reliability: I dont expect it to last forever but at this price, throwing it around doesnt bother me. It will hopefully be a great road go-to.
Overall: Aside form a few cosmetic flaws like binding a little off and some ajustments out of the box im quite impressed.
Playability and Feel: This is where its great. It feels very very much like my buddies 75'Gibson Les Paul Standard. Its sounds almost exactly the same.
Tone: Play a Gibson Les Paul Standard and then play one of theses side by side. If you can honestly tell a world of difference(which you won't), then take out a loan and get the Gibson. I cant believe how great this guitar sounds for the money.
Finish: This is where its lacking a little.. Its not a real wood finish top, its a sticker and/or painted. Hard to tell but you know it in the back of your head and might get to some people. Mine was a slight bit off center. Very hard to see and I just noticed it today. No one else will prolly ever notice.
Action: I made some ajustments to get rid of fret buzz. Other than that it plays well.

Subject:$2,000 Cheaper than a Gibson:)
Quality: Go to a music shop and take a buddy. Have them grab a Gibson and an Epiphone and cover the head stocks. You can't tell at first glance that they're different. If you switch out the pick ups and electronics (depending on what wood it's made out of), you can NOT audibly tell them apart.
Reliability: They are solid.
Overall: Worth every penny.
Playability and Feel: They re the real deal without the price tag.
Tone: Very nice right out of the case.
Finish: I have a Honeyburst Plus top and it looks amazing.
Action: I had to set it up.

Quality: I would say this is a very well built guitar! I would recommend this guitar to anyone considering buyin one from beginner to expert
Sound: It sounds great! None of my friends even wanted to play their guitar after playin my Les Paul
Reliability: I've only had it 3wks so I can't say how reliable it is
Overall: I was very happy with my purchase! This guitar is well worth the money!!
Playability and Feel: This guitar feels great in every way. The neck feels great and makes this guitar very easy to play.
Tone: this guitar can sound anyway u want it too and sound great doing it! The pickups are awesome

Subject:Surprisingly good!
Quality: Good quality out of China! Maybe they're getting better or Gibson is doing some tight quality control, but I was impressed.
Sound: Loads of tone and that trademark LP sustain.
Reliability: So far so good! High E string broke in shipping, but I was going to put on my favorite brand, anyway.
Overall: True to the original at a fraction of the price. I'm not going to say this is as a good as the $1800 Gibson version -- I've played them side-by-side and it's not! But it is close enough for real world gigging. This is now my primary axe for playing out.
Playability and Feel: True to the Les Paul tradition! Difficult to distinguish between this and the high-end model in overall playability and feel.
Tone: Pickups are noiseless, though I find some of the brighter settings a bit on the tinny side.
Finish: The Cherry Sunburst is beautiful. It's a laminate, but you have to look very closely to see that it isn't "real".
Action: It was playable out of the box, but I did some small tweaks just to suit my style. This was the surprising part to me -- I generally need to take a new mail order guitar to the luthier, but this one came set up just fine.

Quality:
Subject:This is a great guitar for beginner thru pro.
Quality: You can tell the amount of work and detail that went into this guitar. And it plays so well.
Sound: It has the Famous Les Paul tone even with a cheapo 15 watt Ibanez amp.
Reliability: To soon to tell
Overall: This guitar screams quality. My friend that owns a Gibson Les Paul could not believe the craftsmanship or the price that I paid for this Epiphone. Comparing the two: The Gibson has better Fret board and frets, hotter pickups, better tuning pegs,Top is the actual body, and the neck is a little different.
Playability and Feel: Well the Epiphone is alittle lighter than the Gibson, but not by much. This guitar feels great though. Its very comfortable in my hands. The neck is very smooth for fast playing. The controls are easy to reach. I've also noticed that after 8 hours of playing it has not gone out of tune.
Tone: It basically has the Les Paul tone. The only upgrade that I would do to this guitar is changed the pickups to Semoure Duncan alnico 2 pro's
Finish: I ordered the Vintage Sunburst and the pictures on this website does not do it justice. It's really a sight to behold.
Action: Actually I was very surprised that this baby came set-up perfect.
