Epiphone PR5E Cutaway Acoustic Electric GuitarThe Epiphone PR5E Acoustic Electric offers the ultimate in playability, great looks, rich tone & tone control. The PR5E features high-quality woods, a deep Florentine cutaway, a remarkable Electar Labs Active Equalizer and Pre-amp with a piezo pickup. Select woods include a spruce top (with hand-trimmed bracing), mahogany back & sides, a solid mahogany slim-taper neck (1.68 inch at the nut), a rosewood fretboard and rosewood bridge.
The sharp Florentine cutaway provides easy access to all 21 frets. The preamp features 3-band EQ, an 800-2000 Hz Frequency Control for eliminating feedback and a 1/4 inch output. The PR5E also includes an external 9V battery compartment and gold diecast machine heads.

| I purchased my PR-5E about a year ago, and it was one of the last Wine colored ones AMS carried.....I am submitting this review in the NATURAL category, but, it is the exact same instrument...superior quality thru and thru, and, you can bet you will get years of service out of it....highly recommended from a 25 year pro player !! | |
