| Crazy metal guitar, very fun. Glad i bought it. |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| Meh, i mean i bet the actual ESP neck thru rig is a better deal, but this guitar is VERY light.. almost feels like styrofoam cored or something haha. tuners are good, the guitar has never had a single issue.. but i can tell this is no expensive wood under this black paint. Does not feel cheap tho. |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| A few dents there n there.. that long part of the V reeealy sticks out.. be careful when youre turing around w it. |
|
| General |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| Its certainly its own animal and is not going to sound great clean.. but for metal, its playable as hell.. id reccomend some upgrades tho... |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| its certainly not chunky as its reeealy light. Sustains are ok then too.. but i ran actives ( emg hum/single all in one combo) and its really a nice guitar to grind away on. |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| very pitchy. Certainly not the guitar youd use if all you ahve is the overdrive in your practice amp in your bedroom etc. I use a zoom gfx 5 cabinet modeling pedal and a great pa.. jsut stepped up for a Fender frontman 2 12 cab now too. |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| Looked great. Zero problems. |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| Very good. I chose Elixir ultra lights for a better feel and string tension. |
