This is an addictive bass to play. I have owned many and those we're a lot more expensive. Everything about this bass is amazing, I can't stop playing it. I use it for recording and it never let's me down. If you want a great bass at a low price, this is it. Don't pay more, and don't fret and think the price is so low it can't be all that good. It is. I can't stop singing it's praise.

Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Tone control is very impressive, the only negative thing I will say is the higher strings when low are also played don't stand out as much as low.
