The ESP D-5 Neck thru bass guitar is loaded with pro appointments making it an incredible value.
The ESP D-5 has a full 34-inch scale for a deep, round sound difficult to find in instruments of this price. Its ultra thin u-shape 5-piece Mahogany and Maple neck with a Rosewood fingerboard, built into a Merbau body, makes for a very solid feel. The bridge is the ESP BB-605 with String-Thru-Body. Electronics include a set of ESP SB-5 pickups; and Volume and Balance controls, plus ESP's ABQ3 3-Band Active EQ. There's a lot of tone and fantastic ESP playability built into this bass.

Quality: This is a very solid bass that sounds amazing
Features: I think the best feature of this bass is the active emg pickups and the 3 band eq.
Sound: The tone of this bass is amazing! With the 3 band eq and active pickups you can dial in just about any sound you would want. I love the sound of this guitar
Playability and Feel: Although it's a little heavy, it's still comfortable. I took mine straight out of the box, tuned it up and away I went. This thing is strung up with D'addario strings straight from the factory. The neck is smooth and the action is set perfect.
Tone: Like I said up above, you can dial in any sound with the 3 band eq and the hot active pickups
Finish: This is a very nice looking bass, I'm not one that's huge on wood stained basses but this looks sharp!
Action: As I said before, the action is smooth straight out of the box
