Jack Reed from United States,
What is your overall opinion of this product?
I am enjoying this product. It is a well-priced, great-playing instrument.
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
Definitely some high quality material. I really only use it for rock music (chords, power chords, solos), but it could probably work well for other genres.
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It seems a little heavy to me, but it could be because I'm not used to solid-bodied guitars.
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
The default pickups are a little cheap, they don't seem to be able to pick up the highest three strings (G, B, High E) very well, but it picks up the lowest three strings very well.
How did the stain or paint job look?
I love the Silver-Sunburst finish. It looks phenomenal.
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
It is very reasonably priced.
How was the action out of the box?
Perfect (for me).
