    Product Description

As with all the instruments in the E-II series, the ESP E-II Horizon FR is crafted in Japan by ESP luthiers, offering a high-end quality normally only found on guitars costing much more. Set-thru construction with a mahogany body, maple top, maple neck and ebony fingerboard provide fantastic sustain and resonance. The Floyd Rose Original bridge keeps things perfectly in tune even during the most extreme whammy use.

What is your opinion of this product?
The neck is perfect. Frets are polished, well finished, and rolled. The bridge is an FR, so that is what it is. The body finish is gloss black, but there is what appears to be a maple binding that surrounds the top edge of the body and the head stock. It is very well done, a nice natural contrast. The pickups are okay, but I plan to replace them with Bare Knuckles. I like and have two sets of Blackhawks, but might go for a set of Warpigs. In summary, it plays smoothly, can sound mellow or snarling. The neck is perfect. Finish is perfect. My second E-II, eighth ESP, and a winner. One other thing; the case was good this time. It latched properly and didn't have glue everywhere. ESP is getting better on their cases.
