Might even replace my Ibanez Rg. with another esp guitar! Tone: Dark and heavy. Finish: The wood is beautiful! Action: This was my only complaint. Action sucked out of the box. Truss rod needed serious adjusting. Strings buzzzzzzed bad against the frets. Some slow tweaking and gtg! The tuners, bridge, nut, knobs, everything appear very stable and tight. Sound: I immediately switched out the pu's and put Seymour Duncans in. A JB model in the bridge position and a Jazz model in the neck position. They are available as a pair at AMS. Reliability: Have only owned it a few months but the thing has given me no problems at all. Overall: Phenomenal guitar regardless of price Playability and Feel: It plays fast. Very fast. You can get some great chord and riff action going with this baby. You can get up high on the neck with ease and it really has a great feel to the neck and the weight is nicely balanced. Tone: Tone is variable depending on what amp you play through. It's great for metal, classic rock sounds, clean tones, jazz, blues, you name it. Finish: Outstanding finish. Beautiful spalted maple and the chunk of Mahogony is nice too. Action: Pretty good action out of the box but a little set-up from a local guitar tech and it's perfect now.
