Great deal for its Price Point!
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Clearly ESP has a great rep, because I've inspected every inch of this guitar, and the parts that it comes with are great value. Top wood looks great, and the sustain is incredible. Overall, great build quality.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I really can't answer this question, I've only had my guitar for about 3 days. I've been drooling over it those 3 days.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I got this guitar after waiting a week or so, due to backorder. It was definitely worth it to wait for this beast. I haven't found one issue with the guitar, even after inspecting and setting it to my specs.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It's a very light guitar for a 7-string. I'm just starting on getting to learning a 7, and I must say that switching from my 6-string to this 7-string is TOO easy. It feels way better in my hands as opposed to my 6-string. Perfect for noobies just getting into the 7-string realm.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The tone is very well balanced, and the pickups sound very good. The low B string is very clear-sounding. Plus, with these pickups being active/passive, you get two choices of sound! I use mine passive, and it sounds great!
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Stain job is incredible. It comes with a black flamed maple veneer, and it adds to a little bit of the brightness. Plus, the pearloid binding on the guitar is PHENOMENAL!
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The action was great! The only thing I had to say that was bad, was that the low B string is a .056 gauge. It's a little bit floppy, but just changing it to a .059 or .060 gauge should take care of that!

What a BEAST!!!
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Very , very well crafted!! No flaws at all and you can tell right away that they payed very close attention to detail on this bad boy!! Flamed maple top looks killer!! The fretboard is smooth and the frets are set in perfectly!! Stays in tune very very good!! Locking tuners are awesome!!! Very good quality!!
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Had mine for awhile now and it hasn't showed any signs of wear at all and is still in mint condition like the day I bought it!! Polishes up great every time!!! Have not had to have it set up because of weather changes either like most other guitars!!
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
This is definitely the best in it's class! Makes going from a 6 string to a 7 string very easy because of the thin neck and 25.5 scale!!Highly recommend this beast to any one wanting a very dependable low tuned metal machine!! This guitar is perfect for metal/ death metal!!
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The playability really surprised me!! I thought since my hands are kind of small that I would struggle switching from a 6 to a 7 string!! This guitar proved me wring right from the get go!! The neck is so comfortable and easy to play! Plus it's 25.5 scale so your not struggling to play a larger scale like the Schecter 26.5 scale!!Very light too so it's very back friendly!! Soling is a breeze on this bad boy!!
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
This beast growls with tons of massive low end! Very heavy crunchy and crisp sound!! EMG's are amazing!!Very very good tone.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finish is amazing!! Great flamed top!! No flaws anywhere at all!! Awesome!!
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The action was really good when I got mine! Very smooth with no fret buzz anywhere on the fretboard!!! I did have a luthier set mine up for A standard tuning!! Worked out perfectly!!
