| Subject: | JH-200 the first couple days |
| Quality:
| First I think the neck joint is the weakest link of this guitar. The quality is decent. The Gloss black paint is flawless! The binding on the neck and headstock are decent. The black nickel is hard to keep clean! The satin finish on the neck is great! |
| Reliability:
| havnt had it long enough. |
| Overall:
| I like this guitar, but wish I would have went with the JH-600! It has much better components! and is neck through! The neck joint on the 200 is weak! I could hear the pitch change with a little pressure toward the back! The Kahler trem is sweet! hard to set up at first, but well worth it. I like them much better than the Floyd Rose! Don't believe the hype about Kahlers go out of tune with string bends. Thats a bunch of BS! Overall this a good fetured guitar for the money! |
| Playability and Feel:
| The neck is fast, a little thicker than what I thought it would be. But its just as playable as the Jackson in this price range! This is my 1st ESP, but after the initial set up, it plays very well! Oh yeah, its heavier than I expected! |
| Tone:
| I am impressed with the tone! The clean is really impressive! The ESP/ EMG pick ups sound good! clean, dirty doesn't matter! It sounds good! I like EMG 81/85's better, and may go with them in the future! Just another reason I wished that I would have went with the JH-600! Overall, I like it better than the JS30 RR Jackson! |
| Finish:
| The paint and satin finished neck are flawless! |
| Action:
| Out of the box? It sucked! ESP inspects these things before they are boxed but they sure as hell don't play em!
It took some truss rod adjustments, and setting up the Kahler. Now that is set up, its pretty damn good! I like it. |
