Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Everything on this guitar was flawless. From the finish to the hardware it looked great and felt great.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I've only had it for a few weeks now but so far everything is solid.
General
Your general opinion of this product.
I bought this as my second guitar and I was a bit reluctant to buy it because I am not a fan of strat style bodies, but I did want a guitar with a floyd rose and active pick ups so this guitar, for the price, does the trick.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It's a bit heavy but nothing too bad. The neck is smooth and fast so faster playing is easier. It is a very balanced and overall comfortable guitar. One thing you should do is look up tips and tricks on guitars with floyd rose systems before you buy the guitar because you do need to set it up before you could start playing and having a little background on it will help you avoid set up problems.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Considering that this guitar does have active pickups, and active pickups are generally associated with heavier styles of music the tone is exactly what I wanted. One downside is that normally on a guitar with passive pickups tweaking the volume levels on the guitar could dial in different levels of crunch, with active pickups you don't get those little nuances.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The paint was almost excellent out of the box. The only flaw would be on the back, the cover for the floyd springs had some belt rash on it. Nothing major.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The action was low. Personally I really liked it.
