Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
The guitar is well made. Neck thru body is a huge plus. The only complaint is that there was a chip in the wood on the inside where the battery for the active pickup, but it's noticable after you cover it up.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I keep it in a hardshell case, so it's remained in great condition.
General
Your general opinion of this product.
I have no complaints about the guitar. Amazing tone, action is perfect, surprisingly lightweight for a 7-string, and most amazing body ever.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It's easy to adjust to. The neck isn't too thick and the action isn't too high to shred on.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
At first, it was extremely fuzzy, but after changing out the battery and raising the action a bit, the tone was insanely brutal when distorted and the cleans were beautiful.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The black satin finish is perfect. Much better than the typical glossy finish on most guitars. Doesn't show fingerprints and smudges nearly as much.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Plays well. Just had to raise the bridge a bit because the strings were almost touching the pick ups when I palm muted.
