ESP LTD Xtone PC2V Electric Guitar

The ESP Xtone PC2V is a double cutaway, semi hollow, archtop instrument with an awesome flamed maple top, a classy Bigsby vibrato and a great retro/modern look.
ESP loads the PC2V with Seymour Duncan humbuckers – an Alnico 2 Pro set. It's all built around a design that includes rock solid set neck construction. Other details include a maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (extra jumbo frets), gold hardware and triple crème body, neck and headstock binding. Xtone represents the best of the past with an infusion of modern technology.

Subject:Can' Say Enough
Quality: Undoubtedly the best bang for the buck out there. Excellent build quality. I got a “blem” and I am still not sure what is blem about it. I would love to see what a perfect one looks like. It is not without flaws, but it a $600 guitar with gold hardware and a Bigsby. You cant have everything.
Reliability: Can’t speak to that yet I just got it but it looks like it will hang in there for the long hall.
Overall: I only gave it fours becuase I am a tough critic and it is a $600 guitar. I doubt that there is a guitar for less that $12000 that I could give all fives to. The only complaint is that is that it came with the strings routed incorrectly through the Bigsby.
Playability and Feel: Nice weight and balance. If you like the feel of a Les Paul you will like this neck. My favorite thing about ESPs is the the frets. Expecialy how nice they round the ends. The big guys could take a page or two from the ESP builders standard book. I have never seen a guitar in this price range with this much attention to the quality of the frets work
Tone: The tone is great. Full frequency and pretty versatile. It has a tone somewhere between a Gretch and a Les Paul.
Finish: In order to top the fit and finish you would have to spend twice as much money. And remember mine is a “blem”. The book match on the wood on the face of the guitar body could be better. Perhaps that is the reason that they considered mine a “Blem”. But all in all it is a beautiful instrument.
Action: Excelent, I do not think that I will do any adjustment except the restringing (see above).
Skill Level: Semi-Pro
"I love purchasing from AMS. The Payment Plan is so refreshing for part time musicians like myself. I would never be able to afford such great equipment otherwise."
