| This thing screams like a demon! |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| I have played a good amount of different guitars, and I have one other ESP (EC256) and I thought it was the best guitar ever. But then I got this, you can tell that the quality control is MUCH higher on this guitar, and it is just designed to be more player-friendly. |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| I have only had it about a month, but so far I have had no issues whatsoever, other than the fact that I can't put it down. |
|
| General |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| I feel that for the money, you get an amazing deal. You get an EXTREMELY rare and amazingly crafted guitar. You get 1 of 300 in the world, with a certificate of authenticity signed by Slayer, I'm not sure if their signatures are just printed or not. i bought it without knowing the rarity, and I was so surprised when I saw the certificate! |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| It's a mid-weight guitar, around a strat weight, and the neck is small and fast, almost like a Dean VMNT. So it's great for shredding. |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| The overall sound of this guitar is very powerful and smooth, the active pickups give you amazing sustain, and this guitar has a great sound range. It sounds amazing whether you're playing thrash metal or blues, sound wise, it's a great all-around guitar. |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| The South of Heaven graphic is PERFECT. It is BY FAR my most visually intense guitar i have owned, and it looks so menacing just sitting on it's stand. |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| Out of the box, it was ready to go. Just tune it, and you're ready to play Angel of Death. The action was pre-set exactly how I like it. I don't know if it was just luck, or if it's normal, but either way, this guitar is amazing to play, even without adjustments. |
