| Outstanding quality instrument! |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| Very well made....One of the finest guitars I have ever owned. Superb from strap-button to tip of the headstock. Only time will tell on it's dependability but I got a hunch it's gonna be fine, 'cause it's a USA made Fender. |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| Again, only time will tell. But I have no doubts. |
|
| General |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| I think it's the best outside the realm of Fender's Custom Shop. For the money....you won't beat it. |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| Not near as heavy as my American Standard Tele, and the neck & the action is a picker's dream. Love the thin neck & with the bridge-cover that comes with it I actually have a place to rest my hand. Sweet! |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| Tone is everything from deep, throaty tones to ear-piercing, biting trebles. Play anything from Don Rich and James Burton to Ace Frehley and Eric Clapton. You will love this guitar. |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| I went with the "Candy Apple Red" and not a flaw anywhere on this guitar. Absolutely stunning! |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| I had to adjust the action slightly, a little too high for my tastes, but that was no problem. After a few tweaks with the allen wrench that came with it & about 15 mins. I was set and jammin' like a man possesed. |
