All parts seemed strong and ready for the perfomer. After my first show, I now know this guitar is strong and can handle the work that you put into it. No fret bites makes the neck smooth and fast. Sound: The first strum told me to play, write, and enjoy. The neck pickup is smooth and mellow. A true blues tone. Neck and bridge together stands out stong and ready for the heart of your music to fill the space and meat of the music. I like the bridge pickup tone when it's time for quick picking action. A great tone! The "Tone Bucket" feature is a sweet gift. Turn down the tone knob and there is no bass gain, which sometimes makes the sound a little muddy when you don't it to be. A great feature! Way to go Fender! Reliability: Recived this beauty the 10th month of 2011. So far, one of my best investments all around. As Fender has proven in the past, very reliabal in the future is expected. Overall: This is a well made guitar that even you can afford. All American, all Fender, all Telecaster! Playability and Feel: This is a well balanced intrument. The neck is smooth and fast enough to get the job done. Typical style of the controls for a Telecaster. Easy to access and fun to use. No hard work here. Tone: The tone of these Texas specials are powerful enough to cut through with expression. And the great feature of the "Tone Bucket" electronics is a blessing you will never regret. Finish: A beautiful white gloss is well applied and a strong protectant to protect this guitar for years to come. Beautiful! Action: I first thought that I may have to adjust the action but after running some scales, I found the action to be spot on. Right out of the box. A great set up from the Fender techs.
