    Product Description

Best known as the guitarist of U.K. metal heroes Iron Maiden, Dave Murray has been banging his head with Fender since the mid ’70s. Murray recently joined forces with Fender to create a signature model based on his own ’57 Stratocaster, previously owned by late, great Free guitarist Paul Kossoff.

The Fender Dave Murray Stratocaster Electric Guitar boasts a supercharged HSH configuration—a DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary DP103 neck pickup, a DiMarzio Super Distortion DP100 bridge pickup and a Fender vintage-style middle pickup.

Other features include a lacquer finish, flatter soft V shaped neck with satin back, chrome hardware, and a maple fingerboard with black dot position inlays. Vintage tweed hardshell case included.

What is your opinion of this product?
It's not cheap, but there is something very different about this Strat that is heads above any of the others that I own. Tone, sustain, comfort, and playability. This guitar has everything the others should.

    99% Pure Iron Maiden!
Your general opinion of this product.
The ONLY thing this guitar is lacking is that ever elusive 22cond fret! WHY I ask fellow musicians do they make an incomplete octave? 24 frets would make it an even 2 octave neck but I digress, 22 will add a world of all of those "Beginning of the "You got another thing comin" solo intros. ALOT of Metalheads are switching to other brands (which sucks for the Americans employed @ the Fender USA factory) such as Schecter, ESP/LTD, Charvel ETC. Because Fender is a little slow on asking &/ or changing specs to keep up with the times on certain models. Just so everyone remembers all of my opinions are just that: My opinions. Thanks 4 reading & stay true to the Metal no matter WHAT you use! Up The Irons! BTW before you write to say that "Another thing comin' is Judas Priest" forget it - I KNOW that I also know that the 2 bands are good friends & helped each other achieve a higher level of success in the USA. God bless!
