| I am in love! |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| Very well made, and so far very dependable. |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| Had it 3 months, no problems at all. |
|
| General |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| I considered myself a Gibson/PRS man until I picked this up. It is MIM, which made me a little leery at first, but the voices that come out of this thing will win you over! |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| It's a Telecaster for sure- not a shred machine. I like the 9.5' radius neck. It's fast enough for me, and bends are really smooth. |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| It can be bright and sparkly (not as twangy as I expected, though I'm sure it could do that- I don't play country) all the way to smoky and dark with the Duncan. |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| It's supposed to be 'Roadworn', and some parts of the finish look a little fake- which they are. It's hard to create an authentic Roadworn look I imagine. But when you play and hear this beauty- who cares really?
(By the way, the controls are reversed from this photo, with the pickup selector at the rear) |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| I bought it off the rack at the local shop- don't know if they had set it up or not, but it was perfect. |
