Awesome Playability and Looks!!!!
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Only one complaint on the quality. Being it is a replicated "60's" Jazz does not mean the pickups have to be as noisy as an original!!!
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
Then neck is for sure the best feature on this guitar! There is no doubt this is the fastest and most comfortable neck I have ever played. The only thing I would have done different is put better pickups.
Sound
How is its Tone?
The tone I get from this bass can go from bright and punchy to dark and muddy.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The weight of this guitar is very well balanced. Like I said earlier, the neck is thin and fast!!!! Perfect for any style music.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
| With the right eq setting on my SWR 350x I can get a MM Sterling sound all the way to the distinctive Jazz Bass growl.
It can get pretty much any tone you can imagine. The only draw back is the pickups are quite noisy when they are not balanced. |
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
AWESOME! I know it sounds crazy to buy a MIM Jazz for over a grand, but this baby looks as good as it sounds!!!
Action
How was the action out of the box?
When I first pulled this guitar out of the box the action was set ok for a mail order catalog. I play a little more aggressively than most, so it had a good bit of fret buzz. With just a little patience I had the action perfect for my playing style.
