    Product Description

For guitarists who must have original-era Jazzmaster sound, look and feel, the Classic Series ’60s Jazzmaster Lacquer epitomizes the instrument during the 1960s, when guitarists from coast to coast used it to ride waves of reverb-drenched surf and instrumental music.

With authentic features including a nitrocellulose lacquer finish in classic Surf Green and dual American Vintage Jazzmaster pickups, everything about it takes you back to a wildly creative time when rock music came into its own, from surf to psychedelia and more. Enjoy proper intonation throughout the entire fretboard due to the fully adjustable six saddle bridge. Dial in a wide variety of tones and volume options from both single coil pickups with the various slide switches and controls.

Restores my faith in MIM Fenders
What is your opinion of this product?
I was on the fence about getting this vs the American model for twice the price but I decided to try it out and I'm glad I did. It has every bit of fit and finish that the American has but hey... It's still made in the Americas!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has played an original jazzy or anything in between. It's just a fantastic guitar.

    I love this guitar.
What is your opinion of this product?
I bought this guitar as I needed a multi purpose axe. I needed a guitar with a worrbley tremolo, I needed a Jazz axe, that was effects friendly. I have a Thurston Moore Jazzmaster, and to be fair that guitar is awesome, but the neck PU controls had been removed the way Thurston likes it. I wanted the neck PU control feature. The susstain on the Classic 60s Jazzmaster is amazing. The US 65 reissue PU's/hardware sound/work great.Very hot, The weight is perfect at 7.5 pounds. I get jangley strat sounds as well as thick Les Paul sounds,. The neck position sounds great over driven as well clean, I back off the tone a wee bit and I get sort of a L5 or like an ES 175 tone. Gibson would charge you $3000 for a guitar of this quality and tone. DO not be afraid of it being assembled in Mexico, this is a serious guitar. That reported, there are some minor changes that I will make on this guitar. Im adding a Mastery bridge and tremolo. That's my preference. This guitar is worth every penny.

Exceeded my expectations- this is the one
What is your opinion of this product?
First of all, thanks American Musical for the payment plans! The customer service team was great to deal with. Everything about this Jazzmaster is on par with an American '65 reissue I had a few years ago. I've also owned the Mim Classic Jazzmaster. The pickups, neck, overall fit and finish is top notch. The nitro finish and hardshell case is bonus. Completely exceeded my expectations.

    Now this is a Jazzmaster
What is your opinion of this product?
This guitar is one of the best if not the best Jazzmaster I have purchased since I bought one in 1965. This one however has a shorter scale neck so it's a bit more comfortable to play. Sound is amazing you can go from rock to jazz instantly. The great thing I love about this guitar is you can have lead and rhythm settings the way you want all the time and easily change from one to the other with the flick of one switch. Sound is clear and has a bell like chime. Guitar neck is fast and easy to finger pick or use a plectrum. Definitely worth the money and I'm gonna get another for my son. Yes, it's that good!
