Product Description

The Fender Jazzmaster was first introduced to the world in 1958 with its uniquely contoured body, incorporating a snappy 25.5-inch scale length with warm-sounding pickups.

General
Your general opinion of this product.
I kind of took a gamble when ordering this since I really wanted an affordable Jazzmaster with the classic electronics. This model however does not disappoint and the quality is astounding to say the least. I've had some pretty wonderful guitars in my possession over the years and I have to say that this Mexican-made Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster is easily one of the best guitars I have ever played. Since AMS is offering an 8 payment option, it's a total steal. Go get one from the fine folks at AMS while they still offer the payment plan.
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
The quality of the guitar is quite amazing, the only gripe I really have is about the bridge tunomatic bridge. But that's easily replaceable if it's even that big of a deal to you. It only buzzes a little when you play it unplugged and the bridge does not affect sound when plugged in. Otherwise the quality is some of the finest foreign-made imports I've ever seen.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
This is where this model gets interesting. The pickups are hotter than your standard jazzmaster but it creates this dark tone that's both bright and and mellow but yet has that classic jazzmaster sound.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Positively gorgeous and I was so surprised to see the back of the neck to be laminated. Again the craftsmanship is amazing for this import.
