The pots are really cheap, though, and in fact one doesn't work at all. I'm going to replace them. Sound: Overall very good, but the neck pickup sounds a little muddy because Fender used 250k pots, which aren't normally used with humbuckers. I'll be swapping them out for 500k. Reliability: I've only had it a few weeks but I'm sure it will hold up fine. Overall: Very nice guitar. Feels good and sounds good but Fender made some strange decisions that I'll mention as I go. I just wish Playability and Feel: The neck is a little chunkier than the "Modern C" but it feels great. I got used to it in a hurry. Tone: How do you want it to sound? This thing is very versatile thanks to each pickup having its own volume and tone control. It's got plenty of bite and high end, though of course not as much as a Tele with a single-coil at the bridge. And the semi-hollow body gives it a more airy, three-dimensional sound than you can get from a solid body. Finish: Overall very good but they missed a few spots when coloring the inside edges of the f-hole. Sadly these mistakes are common, even on my Gibson that cost more that twice as much as this did.
