Quality: See subject line. You really can't beat Fender products in terms of reliability. My band uses three Fender amps, and Fender Rhodes, my tele, and a Strat, and we rarely have problems. This guitar gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Sound: I play through a Fender 4x10 DeVille, and the sound is great. I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't sound as nice as a higher end guitar, but it is plenty good. I love humbuckers on a tele--it gives me a sound range all the way from super-bassy to super-twangy. Not as twangy as a single coil tele, but more than I will ever need playing my type of music. Reliability: Again, it is a Fender. I had to replace one of the screws that is used to adjsut the action because it was loose and the action would go all the way down. The same shop that did my set up replaced that screw for free and I have had no problems since. Overall: I have been gigging with this guitar for over a year now. I had a local shop do a set up for me, and since then this guitar has been amazing. One great thing is that despite the floating tremolo, the guitar rarely goes out of tune unless I really beat on the strings. I was disappointed when I opened the box and there was no tremolo bar, but the shop ordered a new one and replaced it with minimal drama. I have used the tremolo bar twice since then, but at least I have it. Playability and Feel: Like I said before, the neck feels great. The controls are very east to get to on-stage. I like the placement of the selector switch, and all the volume and tone knobs are naturally places. Tone: You get a really full range of tones on this guitar, and the whole range sounds good. Like I said, I gave 4 stars for tone and sounds because a $3500 tele is going to sound better, but for $699 I can't complain. Finish: I love the tobacco sunburt finish, especially with the silver hardware and black pick guard. This is a beautiful guitar, even after a year of hard playing. the pick guard is pretty scratched up, but it gives the guitar character. Action: The action out when I bought it was okay. I actually chose this guitar based on how the neck felt. It just made me want to play fast & complex lines. For the 8th time, after I did the set up it is great.
