| A Great Fender Stratocsaster That Won't Break The Bank! |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| I've mentioned earlier that I feel this guitar is very well made, it feels great, Fender sealed machine heads, classic style tremolo with high mass bridge block, it's a solid strat all the way around. |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| I've only had mine for about two month's, I play it constantly, this is a well built guitar and I don't foresee any problems anytime soon. |
|
| Overall |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| I've played dozens of Strats from new to vintage, Squire and the real deals. Every Stratocaster has it's own personality. The Standard Upgrade Strat is perfect for someone who wants a real strat at an affordable price!. This is a quality instrument, well worth the money. |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| It has some weigt to it with the alder body, the 'c' shaped neck with medium jumbo frets plays nice, it has a great feel, a bit chunky like the older strats it's not a super fast neck, no strat is, it plays as a strat does. |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| I hate to knock it but the only thing that I would replace in the future would be the pickups, only because I'm after some different tones, and I'll probably be using this guitar for playing live. |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| I have the two tone sunburst and the wood grain and finish are also very impressive, it looks fantastic!. |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| Straight out of the box I was totally surprized at how well this guitar played, exellent low action with no buzzes of any kind. I was expecting to have to take it for a setup, not the case, it plays great!. |
