I'm extremely happy with this!
General
What is your overall opinion of this product?
I had read not too great things about this line since it is not US made: things such as the frets being jagged/sharp, bad finish, and several other negative points. This feels just as good and looks just as good as the American Standards that I've looked at in my local stores. I'm very happy.
Tone
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
Passive P-Bass... great sound, exactly what I wanted.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Perfect Finish - no flaws whatsoever. Smooth.
Value
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
I got better than I had expected. I was considering the American Standard (USA) vs. this Standard (Mexico) but I just couldn't put out the extra $700. I'm very happy with my decision. This Standard Precision bass is perfect!
Playability
How was the action out of the box?
I didn't have to change a thing.
