Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
the neck is smooth as glass, with perfectly smooth fret edges, very fast playing neck, not heavy feels great in my hands, controls are nice and smooth,
|
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
awesome range of sounds you can get from this guitar, great for rock, country, R&B,blues. I don't play metal so I don't know about that but I don't see why not
|
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
the finish is great, the flame is simply beautiful, you have to look from different angles to truly appreciate it, the Birdseye maple neck is also as stunning as the body, they compliment each other very well
|
Action
How was the action out of the box?
this one was great right out of the box, I'm sure I'll have to make some adjustments just haven't noticed a need to yet. I usually do the majority of my own setups and repairs especially on a new one but this one has had no issues whatsoever.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Nice quality. Pretty wood. Very glossy finish, would have preferred lower sheen.

Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I was worried about the sustain, being a bolt on, non pitched back neck, but I was pleasantly surprised. Tremolo holds tune surprisingly well. Love the chimey pickups. Humbucker at bridge helps. Love the radius on the neck very playable.
|
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Neck is a nice shape, not too thin, not to thick. Everything is at a comfortable reach. I adjusted the action down, but was comfortable out of the box. Well thought out design.
|
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Single coils are bright and snappy, and the humbucker snarls as advertised. I dont need to upgrade the pickups, can handle a range of tones. Great blues guitar.
|
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Very glossy. Would have like a satin finish, but the gloss gives the grain great clarity. Smooth neck...glides easy. Very pretty guitar.
|
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Perfect for all around playing, but I lowered it for fast light playing. Very touch responsive. Harmonics ring up and down the neck.
