Fender

The Fender Modern Player Telecaster Thinline Deluxe Electric Guitar casts an already distinctive classic Telecaster in a whole new light with a full-throated pair of single-coil Modern Player MP-90 pickups. These pickups give the classic hot tone that is instantly recognizable and used for everything from country to classic rock and blues.

A mahogany body, C-shaped maple neck and maple fingerboard gives the Modern Player Tele Thinline Deluxe great warmth and sustain with enough bite to cut through the mix on solos. The thinline design gives players a lighter weight Tele with a more open, almost vocal-like tone that adds great character to your sound.

Fender Modern Player Telecaster Thinline Deluxe Features
  • Maple fingerboard with 9.5 inch radius and 22 medium jumbo frets
  • Two Modern Player MP-90 single coil pickups
  • Three-way toggle pickup switching
  • Four skirted amp knobs (two volume, two tone)
  • Vintage-style Stratocaster string-through-body six-saddle hard-tail bridge
  • Vintage-style tuners and nickel/chrome hardware
Throughout its history, Fender has always made a special point of welcoming new players to the family by offering entry-level guitars of remarkable style and substance (such as the Duo-Sonic, Mustang and Musicmaster models), with great sound, classic looks, solid performance and eminent affordability. The Modern Player series continues that great my-first-Fender tradition, with thoroughly modern features and several distinctively unconventional new takes on our most revered instruments-all with outstandingly attainable value.

General
Your general opinion of this product.
it is a very well made guitar and it sounds awsome
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
i like the tele shape but not always a tele sound, but this is a great new tone for you tele lovers and the neck is nice!
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
it is a very unique sound, they are pretty high output, but the warm sound is incrediable, and it likes to rock on the bridge. this made my 60's tribute gibson les paul p-90 useless this was better in every aspect!
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
flawless high gloss like my mij jag
Action
How was the action out of the box?
way off took about a half hour to setup
