    Product Description

The Fender Modern Player Starcaster Bass Guitar brings back one of the rarest instruments Fender has ever produced! This incredible semi-hollow bass features a distinct offset body that was on only a few prototypes in the mid ‘70s. Fender starts off by crafting the Starcaster bass with a thin semi-hollow body constructed with a bound maple top and back and bound f-holes for a unique looks and clear, throaty semi-hollow bass tones.

The Starcaster bass features a short-scale length (30-inches) and a C-shaped maple neck for a superb feel for players of all sizes. The distinctively curvaceous Starcaster headstock, 9.5 inch-radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and black-dot inlays give this bass incredible looks and feel. Dual Fender Wide Range humbuckers with three-way toggle switching, four skirted amp-style control knobs and a four-saddle Fender Hi-Mass bridge put the finishing touches on this instant Fender classic.

What is your opinion of this product?
This is really a excellent bass. looks awesome plays the same. I has a definite growl yet sounds like a stand-up bass. love the short scale for my small hands. only two complaints are long scale strings don't really work. for some reason the E string snaps. the knobs look cheap and not qutie right. easy fix there.

What is your opinion of this product?
Perfectly set up out of the box; the Wide Range Humbuckers sound excellent; unique look is very cool; bound f-holes are a nice touch. Very satisfied with this bass.
