| Fender puts out a great product, we all should be able to agree on that, even if you would rather play a Gibson. Again, for the price...it is a good deal on quality. |

| The best feature is the neck. It is not the greatest of all time, but it plays well above it's price tag. Clean and easy is the way I would describe it. |

| This is another area, were bass players tend to "fudge around" a little. I left it "as is", just did not seem to need anything, of course you are not going to be playing any Stanley Clark tunes on here, this a working bass, not a show off bass. |

| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| This is the one area that I was most disappointed in. We have all seen Sting's bass...right? Well this looks nothing like his bass, nor does it have any of the "feel" of his bass. Look...I know that his bass is the "real thing"...some 50's special found on the front pouch, of some old grandmother, who had not touched it since her son died and did not come home from Vietnam and she just wants it out of her house and she took $20 bucks for it...hahahaha, we all know the story. But all Fender would have to have done, is put a sandblaster to the body for 2 sec's and it would have look at least something like the real thing...I know, because that is what I did and the bass looks GREAT! |
