    Product Description

John 5 is a self-described ‘Fender fanatic’ with a jaw-dropping collection of his favorite instrument, the Telecaster (‘the greatest guitars ever built, by far,’ in his words). His Squier signature model, the J5 Telecaster, is a double-bound beauty based on his oft-modded workhorse Telecaster. Expect many player-centric twists out from this instrument that bears the name of player that demands the best.

This guitar rocks! It is cosmetically stunning, the tone is distinct and sexy sustain, the neck is slick and the action is of high caliber, I never would have thought to acquire a Squier, the most affordable guitar I've purchased in 18 years, thank you John 5 for the inspiration and American Musical for your great service over the years!

Better than expected & great value
What is your opinion of this product?
As is this is a great guitar especially with the price attached to it. Aesthetically, it's a stunning guitar. The set up was almost perfect out of the box. The pickups are well balanced and get a really good sound clean & dirty. A very comfortable instrument to play. I wish it had a compound radius fretboard & a tone control but I knew it didn't going in so I'm not docking it any stars (and I'm already changing the pickups & adding a tone control this weekend. I'll do the neck later.) Don't let the inexpensive Squier name scare you. This is a great buy for the money. Well done.

What is your opinion of this product?
I bought this guitar 3 years ago, for a project, But right out of the box, I was floored... The quality of this guitar blew me away. This should last a lifetime. Easily, right up there with guitars twice the price. It has an great neck, very nice weight, feels very well put together... When you get your hands on it, it definitely feels the part... I couldn't put it down. The pickups, to be stock, are awesome as well. Great cleans, viscous with drive, and a beast on lead channel. Not just for metal... country, blues, classic rock as well. All around great guitar. For a beginner,a weekend warrior, or pro, This one is outstanding. Ya know, I just realized writing this, I never did start that project.. guess I should get another one.
