Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
The guitar is really great. and not even for the money..it's really good. I had this delivered 2 days ago, and then went to guitar center and played a new 2012 american strat. and i'm telling you all..this neck is BETTER. not the body,... the NECK
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Slick and easy to play, low vintage style frets, easy to glide up and down the neck, very soft C shape, easy on the hands, feels good, the finish is really great. Banana color with white and black trim, tinted 70's headstock, and the best part is, it's a 4 bolt neck plate.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Seymour duncan squier pickups, they're good, sound like a strat all the way, but I prefer alnico usa pickups and pots. Even the new usa strat pickups, are not that good.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Great finish, no flaws, the body is BASSWOOD. and I have never owned a guitar made of this type of wood. so I don't know of it's value or longevity.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Action was nice, but I lowered it.
