Squier Classic Vibe 60s Stratocaster Electric Guitar; 60s-era Fender tone!
Built for long hours of playing, the Squier Classic Vibe '60s Stratocaster evokes all the style of that musically adventurous decade with added features you wouldn't want to do without. Manufactured from a solid alder body, the Classic Vibe 60s Strat features a period correct finish with a ’60s-era vintage-tint gloss-maple neck and a 21 fret (medium jumbo) rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5 inch neck radius. You will revel in the thickness of tone you'll find flowing out of the Alnico V single-coil pickups giving it a quick attack with a midrange force while knocking you out with a powerful bridge pickup. All pickups are designed with custom staggered pole-pieces that vastly improve the overall string-to-string balance.

| One of my best Purchases! |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| This guitar is very well made I have had it for three years. It fell a couple of times and still roars. |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| I have had this guitar for about 3 years and it has stood the test of time. Other than adjusting the action, I have had no problems with this strat. I practice just about every day and play in a band twice a week with no problems. |
|
| Overall |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| Overall, this guitar is amazing. IT is what a strat is supposed to sound like and more. The neck pickups are great for playing a little dirty and the neck/bridge gives you the nice John Mayer sound! |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| It feels fantastic! The neck was so smooth and tight that I am able to glide through the frets like butter! |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| I play lead guitar and my rhythm player has an American standard and and a custom strat. It was a little intimidating at first but the band always talks about how great my tone is. It sounds absolutely amazing through a super champ XD with a Ragin Cajun! OMG! I highly recommend a tube amp for this guitar! It takes your guitar from amazing to.... "Who is that"! |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| I love the SRV style color. The paint job is what you would expect. It does not look like a cheap guitar that's for sure. |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| I had to slightly lower the action once I took it out of the box. It took me less than 10 minutes and I am not a guitar repair guy. Once the action was adjusted, it was all gravy! |

| Another CV Strat winner--Thanks Fender Squier-- |
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| Mine is the candy apple red and finish is perfect, neck finish is perfect-hard to tell from a top end custom line. |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| Set up out of the box wasn't bad needed some tweaking, not at all unusual for a new guitar. Once it was set up, everything has held including tuners. |
|
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| ery well engineered, everything was perfect and ready to go. |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| N/A--too soon to tell |
|
| Overall |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| I know this phrase gets over used but these CV lines are the best buck for the bang. Try and beat their looks, quality and build. Let me know if you can top them. |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| Fit is great, weight is light and comfy. Neck and fret work perfect, I always remove the volume knob from any strat to accidently keep from turning volume down when playing. No complaints at all. |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| Tone is typical alnico V sound, fuller than the thin sound of alnico 3s. Still offers plenty of snap for biting lead. |
