Product Description

With classic blackguard Telecaster vibe in a gorgeous Vintage Blonde-finished pine-body guitar, the Squier Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster Electric Guitar is an impressive guitar with a great look and even better sound.

The vintage-tint gloss-maple neck has a maple fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets and a modern 9.5 inch radius. Distinctive Telecaster tone rings from the custom Alnico III single-coil pickups—giving clear note separation even when distorted, strong midrange dynamic response and plenty of solo high-end bite.

Squier Classic Vibe Series
Back in 1982, the very first Squier by Fender guitars and basses came ringing out of Asia. Known for their excellent vintage-quality look, feel, sound and construction, those early Squier instruments and their Fender branded counterparts are now highly sought-after collector's items revered by guitar enthusiasts as models of getting it right while aiming at value-conscious players.

The Squier Classic Vibe Series reflects that simultaneous commitment to excellence, value and vibe. Mirroring classic Fender designs, the Classic Vibe offering is not intended to be era or vintage correct, but rather imparting the vibe of a classic Fender design. Each with distinctive feature set combinations, all adding up to one classic looking instrument.

What is your overall opinion of this product?
Awesome Guitar!!!
Quality
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
I only gave it 4 stars for quality because my bridge pickup started cutting in and out on me. Other than that I love it. I Hot Rodded mine. I replaced the bridge with a stamped steel genuine Fender bridge. Installed a SD STK-T2 bridge pickup which is "THE BOMB", replaced pots with Fender 250K CTS pots and installed a Fender Am. Std. 3-way switch. I also replaced pickguard with Am. Std. BWB pickguard so I could adjust the neck pickup without having to remove pickguard every time. I kept the neck pickup stock because it sounded awesome. Now I basically have a Fender American Tele at the fraction of the cost. It REALLY ROCKS OUT NOW!
Feel
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Well balanced. Neck feels GREAT! Controls work as they are supposed to .
Tone
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
Great tone. Still has that vintage sound and tone without the noise.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Love the finish - VINTAGE BLONDE that lets wood grain show through is a nice touch.
Value
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
Great value especially if you are looking to Hot Rod or modify it.
Playability
How was the action out of the box?
When I finished Hot Rodding mine, I gave it a James Burton Tele Spec. setup and this thing will almost play itself now.
